Background: The PAPNG Investment Fund was established by Mr. Ebenezer Sarpong, the National President, in November 2026. Purpose: The primary objective of this Scheme is to enhance the welfare of its members by providing timely financial assistance during bereavement, significant illness, and upon retirement.
Aim/Purpose: The primary objective of the investment fund is to serve as a financial reserve and a long-term savings plan, ensuring that both current and future generations of PAPNG benefit from the wealth generated by our contributions. This fund aims to promote responsible financial management, encourage long-term planning, and safeguard the economic stability of PAPNG.
Fund Allocation: Fifty percent of the total revenue generated by PAPNG will be allocated to the investment fund account. Additionally, ten percent of annual profit gains will be transferred to PAPNG to support welfare initiatives, research, education, and infrastructure development. The remaining funds will be reinvested to enhance the growth of the investment fund.
Investment Portfolio: The PAPNG Investment Fund will invest in a diversified portfolio of approved financial instruments, which will include Treasury bills, government and corporate bonds, as well as equities listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). The Fund will implement a prudent, long-term investment strategy aimed at capital preservation, the generation of sustainable returns, and the support of the Fund’s long-term financial growth.
